We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit us!  Please click around to learn more about our ministries and what we believe, listen to a message or two from Pastor Harold, and let us know if you have any further questions.

We invite you to experience Friendship in person.  We know that looking for a new church can be intimidating, so whether you’ve grown up in church, never been to church, or are coming back to church, our desire is that you feel welcomed and accepted.  We look forward to meeting you and your family.

What kind of church is Burlington Baptist Church?

We are a Baptist congregation with a rich history.  We are a welcoming, engaging family of faith, seeking “to be a home to all who would enter.”  We value our Baptist heritage and are committed to connecting people to Jesus Christ through worship, discipleship, and service.

What time are your services and what is it like?

Burlington Baptist offers two services on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

The atmosphere is relaxed.  Both of our services offer great worship music, a relevant message, a welcoming, loving atmosphere, and friendly people who are eager to meet you and connect with you.

We would recommend arriving about 15 minutes before the service to allow time for parking, grabbing a cup of coffee and/or doughnut, and seating.

What should I wear?

At our services, you’ll see people dressed in a wide range of attire, from jeans or shorts to dress clothes.  Please come as you are and dress comfortably.  All are welcome.

Where are you located?

We are located at 3031 Washington Street, just past the Courthouse in the heart of Burlington.  Click here to find a map of our location.

What about my children?

Programs are available for all children from birth through High School age.  See our Children and Student Pages for information.

Any of our greeters would be happy to direct you and your children to the right place.  Of course, you’re welcome to bring your kids to worship with you (but they’ll probably enjoy our age-level ministries much more!).

Will I be asked to give an offering?

As a guest, you are welcome but not expected to make an offering.  The Tithes and Offering portion of our service is a time of celebration at Burlington Baptist.  Our members are excited to give as part of their commitment to God and the church, according to Luke 6:38.
