Wrapped in His Word

Embrace the Community | Embrace Family | Embrace Self

The Women’s Ministry aims to effectively minister to women and assist them in their personal spiritual growth. We believe fulfilling God’s purpose for your life is accomplished through seasonal and ongoing ministry opportunities. We desire for all women to engage in Bible Study, discipleship, and events.

Women’s Bible Study – Wednesday 6:30PM (Beginning 2/1)

While many resources exist to assist church leaders during the pastor search process, few are written with the average church member in mind. As a result, church members are often left largely in the dark while the search committee goes about their work, which can lead to unnecessary frustration, suspicion, and conflict. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

The Church During the Search, is not a training manual for Pastor Search Committees. Rather, it is designed to help church members honor Christ while they wait for their next pastor. Click here to sign up. Group is facilitated by Beth Maynard.

Women’s Bible Study – Monday 1:00PM (Beginning 2/6)

All women are invited to join us , we will meet weekly on Mondays in the Conference Room at 1:00 pm. We will be studying Heaven by Douglas Connelly. Patti Westphal will be facilitating this group. Click here to sign up, so we make sure you have study materials.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Meetings Postponed

MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children (from pregnancy to Pre-K) to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the church. We gather monthly to celebrate motherhood and build circles of women who love and support each other. After all, raising little humans is beautiful and hard and we can all use a village to help out sometimes.

Meeting times: 1st Wednesday of the month (Sept-May) at 6:30-8:00 pm in the lower level Children’s area. Child care is provided and we follow the Boone County School schedule.
