Burlington Baptist Church is a mission-focused congregation. A large percentage of our finances are given to support mission efforts around the world, here in Kentucky, and especially in the Northern Kentucky region. But, we don’t stop there. We encourage every member to participate in “hands-on” mission efforts. We have annual mission trips, both International and here in the USA, as well as monthly local mission events. At BBC, you will have numerous opportunities to live out God’s call as you serve others.

Gospel to Every Home

Burlington Baptist Church is participating in the KBC’s, The Gospel to Every Home project.  This state-wide campaign is to get the Gospel to every household in Kentucky.  Churches across the Commonwealth are coming together to spread the good news of Jesus.  We will begin distributing packets door to door in Boone County in June.  You can participate in this community outreach by praying, prayer walking, packing bags that will be delivered to each home, and going door to door delivering the gospel.

Annie Armstrong Offering (Easter)

Annie Armstrong (1850–1938) was a bold advocate for missionaries and their work. She championed mission support among Southern Baptist churches & helped create a rich legacy of people awakened and responding to God’s call to pray, give & go.

Since 1895, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering has empowered Southern Baptists’ missional work to reach the U.S., Canada & their territories. Generation after generation, we’ve united to reach people born on our shores and the nations who come here to make a new home.100% of your Annie Armstrong Easter Offering gifts go directly to the mission field. Eliza Broadus Offering (September)

The Eliza Broadus Offering is the state missions offering for Kentucky Baptists. In 1913 Eliza Broadus led Kentucky WMU to promote the taking of an annual offering for state missions in all the churches. Understanding that missions are what believers do to reach beyond the needs of their congregations to witness and minister for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission, Kentucky WMU designed the Eliza Broadus Offering® to advance Kentucky Baptists’ ministry and missions efforts to help people come to know Christ. Sunrise Children’s Services Offering (November)

Sunrise provides care and hope for hurting families through Christ-centered ministries. At the close of the Civil War, families in Kentucky were left devastated. As a border state with torn loyalties, we saw families split and broken by the conflict. Death, sickness, and the poverty that followed left many children orphaned and with no one to care for them. Sunrise continues to be fueled by a faithful dedication to God’s call to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Today, Sunrise provides therapeutic foster care, residential therapeutic treatment, and community-based services statewide. To learn more, visit https://www.sunrise.org
