Missions
Burlington Baptist Church is a mission-focused congregation. A large percentage of our finances are given to support mission efforts around the world, here in Kentucky, and especially in the Northern Kentucky region. But, we don’t stop there. We encourage every member to participate in “hands-on” mission efforts. We have annual mission trips, both International and North America, as well as monthly local mission events. At BBC, you will have numerous opportunities to live out God’s call as you serve others.

Eliza Broadus Offering (September)
The Eliza Broadus Offering is the state missions offering for Kentucky Baptists. In 1913 Eliza Broadus led Kentucky WMU to promote the taking of an annual offering for state missions in all the churches. Understanding that missions are what believers do to reach beyond the needs of their congregations to witness and minister for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission, Kentucky WMU designed the Eliza Broadus Offering® to advance Kentucky Baptists’ ministry and missions efforts to help people come to know Christ. Sunrise Children’s Services Offering (November)
Sunrise provides care and hope for hurting families through Christ-centered ministries. At the close of the Civil War, families in Kentucky were left devastated. As a border state with torn loyalties, we saw families split and broken by the conflict. Death, sickness, and the poverty that followed left many children orphaned and with no one to care for them. Sunrise continues to be fueled by a faithful dedication to God’s call to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Today, Sunrise provides therapeutic foster care, residential therapeutic treatment, and community-based services statewide. To learn more, visit https://www.sunrise.org
